Partnership with FITT
The UPEI School of Business has partnered with FITT to offer the FITTskills program. FITT (Forum for International Trade Training) is an international trade training and professional certification body. As the only organization of its kind in the world, FITT sets the standards and designs the training programs leading to the Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) designation. FITT’s quality training programs impart knowledge and practical skills that provide a competitive advantage to trade practitioners while elevating their position in world markets.
As a deliverer of FITT programs, the UPEI School of Business provides students with an opportunity to explore international trade elements of global entrepreneurship, management, marketing, financing, logistics, market entry and distribution, market research and trade law with seasoned exporters. Private and public sector participants are able to take the FITTskills courses individually or as a comprehensive program. Students acquire critical understanding of the global trading environment and the practical skills and knowledge needed to succeed in today's competitive world markets, while strengthening the export performance of their firms.
