
Sean Hennessey is a Professor at the School of Business, where he teaches in the areas of Corporate Finance, Investment Management, Business Research, and Personal Finance. He is also the Faculty Director of the Tourism Research Center, a group dedicated to completing independent research on the PEI tourism industry and to expanding the tourism research capacity on PEI. Dr. Hennessey has taught in the School of Business at UPEI since 1984.

His research interests include the practice of corporate governance in Canada, the information content of security analysts' forecasts of corporate earnings, the characteristics of tourists and their impact on destinations, the theory and practice of financial planning issues for the individual, and case writing.
