Dr. Blake Jelley joined the UPEI School of Business in July 2007. He teaches in the areas of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management. Previously, Blake served as Team Leader of the Research and Evaluation Unit of the Ontario Police College, Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
Job performance is a key focal point of Dr. Jelley's research. He is interested in the nature, appraisal, prediction and improvement of job performance. He is also interested in candidates' reactions to personnel selection procedures, feedback processes, management skills development, and human resource management in small and medium-sized enterprises. Other research interests include: human resource management; organizational behaviour; and, industrial-organizational psychology.
